History Live Eagles and Flags

T he Napoleonic Eagles and Flags we sell are exact reproductions of those carried during the later stages of the 1st Empire. We make only one pattern of Flag. It is the richly decorated tricolor carried by the French Grenadiers of the Old Guard. Both the Eagles and the Flags we sell come in two sizes. A full size exactly the size of the original and a smaller size one can display on a table or desk. The dimensions are given below.

This beautiful, accurate, full size reproduction of Napoleon's famous Eagle is made of high impact Polyurethane. This is an advanced and stronger material than we have had available before.

The gold paint on the nylon material has come off in some areas. This can easily be repainted as there is a black outline you can easily follow. This flag was on display at the Memphis, TN, Exposition on Napoleon in History Live's magnificent diorama on the Battle of Waterloo. Pole not included unless requested at an additional cost.

This beautiful flag, done in white nylon, is 41 x 58 inches. ..This was a difficult flag to research as nearly every Prussian Flag I could find was a regimental standard. This was probably more the King's Standard than a national flag, but it would be the flag that would fly from important buildings and royal occasions. There is no finial. You can send away for one or carve your own from the King's Logo.

This is called a Finial. It is attached to the top of the staff or pole that carries a flag. In this case it bears the monogram or logo of the King of Prussia, Frederick William III, who was king of Prussia during the reign of Napoleon and one of his arch enemies.

I have only one so whoever purchases a Prussian Flag first gets the Finial. There is no extra charge.
